Our core return policy

All cores must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase for purchases made with core charge. Please ensure that the transmission and torque converter are fully drained, and verify that the torque converter is correctly reinstalled into the transmission using the original hardware provided. The transmission should then be securely strapped to a standard-sized pallet (42″ x 48″) for shipment.

We will arrange the pickup for our given date or the next business day, depending on when the form is received and our cutoff times. We will email the Bill of Lading (BOL) paperwork for returning the transmission via email. Please prepare three copies in total, two for the driver and one securely attached to the transmission.

If you need to change or reschedule a pickup, please contact the phone number listed on the top of the paperwork to make the request.

The core must be free of any internal hard part or case damage. If damage is detected, additional charges will be deducted from your core deposit to cover the cost of the damaged parts or case.

The freight carrier will not provide insurance for the transmission core at its full value. Therefore, it is crucial to securely fasten the transmission to a sturdy pallet. Any damages incurred to the core during return shipping will result in a deduction from the core refund.

Processing of core returns may take 2-4 weeks from the time the core is received.
