200-4R is the 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission built by General Motors in the early 1980s. It is the successor of the Turbo-Hydramatic transmission designed by General Motors. 200-4R was named by General Motors but to avoid confusion, people call it as 200R4 transmission also.
